From Josephine & Robbie

Wow where do I even begin honestly! We seriously cannot thank you enough for all your help throughout this whole process, beginning to end you went above and beyond for Robbie and I and it truly shows in your work and the love you put into every single element. From the beginning concept to organising and planning you are seriously so lovely and talented and we felt so safe knowing you knew exactly what I was after and wanting to achieve. EVERYONE! has been obsessed with that ceiling installation, what a masterpiece, there’s nothing like it, so unique and perfect we loved everything what you did for us. The bridal table was so beautifully thought out and the guest table's were exactly all we needed!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you brought our vision to life!

From Faith

This wedding I have SO MUCH love for! This really is what Lovers and Fleurs is all about!! Super artistic, unlike anything else and totally unique. A mix of art and love with a whole heap of edginess!

This wedding set up definitely evolved over the year that we were planning it, Jaime came to us with an initial vision of pinks, whites and super femme...but as we dived into the design process and I got to know Jaime and Josh it was so apparent that we needed to mix it up and add a lot of edge, being the super cool, young couple that they are.

Another amazing twist was that Josh's dad is super talented at metal work and had planned to build these epic arches to sit at the entrance of the ceremony, so we continued to build out the design from there.

We went with a full monochrome colour palette of powerful black and white. When I designed the ceremony I really wanted to this to be unique, I love drawing inspiration from things that you may not think of when you think of wedding designs, like architecture, fashion, my travels and in the case of this wedding I really wanted it to have an 'art gallery' feeling to it!

Using the existing ceremony hoop of the Bendooley Stables as a start we completely covered this with super sculptural en masse flowers to create the centre point of "the art gallery". To create repetition of the circular hoop we build a circular black stage and placed this under for the couple to stand on, which completely elevated the design.

My favourite part of the design however was the aisle. We built black plinths with clear acrylic plinths to sit atop them a different heights, we then made super artistic flower arrangements and placed them inside the plinths. It was like going to a museum or art gallery and looking in on the treasures inside. It also created such a high end feeling to the whole set up.
